Guru Ji Sushant Maharana is a traditional Pattachitra Artist who, when very young got inspired by artists around him in his village, Raghurajpur.
At the age of around 9, he started learning Pattachitra along with his studies. Finally, he decided to quit school after finishing class 10 and took Pattachitra as his full-time career. Guru Ji Sushant has been creating amazingly beautiful paintings for over 20 years. He also runs many workshops for other art enthusiasts and children.
Guru Ji Sushant has started to creating online self-learning courses for all art lovers who want to learn this very old traditional Indian Folk Arts. The first course is "PP01 - Learn Pattachitra Painting, Foundation Course" for everyone to learn this amazing artform remotely. The entire course is structured in a way that anyone can learn this course remotely. You can share your experience in Buddy press groups for Pattachitra painting.
The second course is PP02 – Learn Pattachitra Painting, Lord Vishnu’s Matsya Avatar and is currently working on the remaining nine Avaratar's of Lord Vishnu, plus some more Folk stories. We shall be publishing them in the coming months.
